BACKGROUND
The West Hollywood Democratic Club (WHDC) was founded in 1985 shortly after the city's incorporation. In 2005, Beverly Hills Democrats was formed as a sponsored PAC of WHDC in an effort to build a grassroots Democratic organization in Beverly Hills. The two organizations have worked tirelessly to increase voter turnout and ensure Democratic victories in local, state and federal elections. In 2009, the two were merged into one organization.
