DEMOCRAT OF THE YEAR AWARDS
On Tuesday, June 2, 2009, we honored Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky with the Democrat of the Year Award. Also honored were West Hollywood Councilmember Jeffrey Prang, Beverly Hills Councilwoman Linda Briskman (ret.), Mr. Charles Cohen, Ms. Ruth Williams, Mr. Dave Gillotte and Los Angeles County Firefighters Local 1014. West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land emceed the event, which was hosted at Pacific Design Center.
